How do I keep my jewelry looking brilliant over time?

To keep your silver and gold-plated jewelry looking radiant, here are a few easy tips to follow:

1. Care for silver jewelry

  • Daily cleaning: Use a soft or microfiber cloth, such as the one included in your package, to wipe your jewelry after each use and remove fingerprints or dust.
  • Deep cleaning: If your silver jewelry tarnishes, submerge it in lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Gently scrub with a soft brush, then dry thoroughly.
  • Avoid chemicals: Do not wear your silver jewelry when in contact with perfumes, lotions, or household products that can tarnish the metal.
  • Storage: Store your silver jewelry in a dry place away from light, ideally in a jewelry box or a fabric pouch to protect it from scratches.

2. Care for gold-plated jewelry

  • Regular cleaning: Wipe your gold-plated jewelry with a soft cloth after each use to remove traces of dirt.
  • Deep cleaning: Use lukewarm soapy water and a soft cloth to clean your jewelry, then dry them carefully.
  • Avoid chemicals: As with silver, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and household products that could damage the gold layer.
  • Storage: Store your gold-plated jewelry in a dry place away from moisture, in a box or a soft pouch.

General tips for all jewelry

  • Avoid salt or chlorinated water: Remove your jewelry before swimming or showering; salt or chlorinated water can alter metals.
  • Protection: Do not let your jewelry come into contact with other objects or jewelry to avoid scratches.

In summary: With simple and regular care, your jewelry will maintain its shine and beauty over time.

How do I measure my finger size at home?

Here are a few simple tips to accurately measure your ring size at home.

1. Thread or ribbon method

  • Take a piece of non-stretchy thread or ribbon and wrap it around the base of your finger.
  • Mark the spot where the thread or ribbon overlaps.
  • Measure the length of the thread or ribbon with a ruler.
  • Refer to a ring size chart to find your size based on the measured length.

2. Using an existing ring

  • Take a ring that fits you well and measure its inside diameter with a ruler.
  • Compare this measurement with a ring size guide to determine your size.

3. Tips for accurate measurement

  • Measure your size at the end of the day, when your fingers are slightly swollen.
  • If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size for more comfort.
  • If your finger size varies slightly, measure it several times to be sure.

In summary: Measuring your ring size is simple! With a little patience and one of these methods, you will easily find the perfect size for you.
